A short story looking into a day in the life of a library page
I walk up to the door. I am TERRIFIED! I know not what awaits me and after I open it it is to late and I then have to face my fate. I SLOWLY wrap my fingers around the knob, I turn it even slower then I had touched it, I open it at a snails pace, then I can wait no longer, I have to open it! It's why I am here. I quickly tear open the door and there before me is what looks like HUNDREDS of books!!! There among the books are two FULL carts with even more books on them! I enter the small room and start to work. I am scared to death to touch a thing! I think if I do the whole room might collapse all around me! I pinch myself trying to wake up. I think this has to be a nightmare! Then I remember, this is no nightmare it's,
