Tortured Soul

I wrote this about someone that i like. I hope you enjoy reading it. :)

Nervousness runs through my veins
Your face clouds my mind
With dreams that will never come true.
Not knowing what is going to happen
Makes me worry at night.
You always find a way
To make my heart
Speed up...
And slow down
At the same time.
Even with knowing so much about you
You are still a stranger to me.
Images cross my mind of what we could have between us
Only to be squashed
By the realization that waiting is what i must do.
This is torturing me
Spending all of this time with you
Not knowing if you feel
The same towards me.
Weakness takes over my body
When you are near me.
My heart feels like it is going to burst from the tension.
Electric currents running arcoss my skin
Beg for a simple touch
That your not willing to give.
