A Great Dog

One day Taylor woke up and his dog, Britty, was gone. He looked everywhere and she wasn't there. Then he started to cry. But then he saw the window wide open. He ran out the door to see if he could find her. But there was no sign of her. Then he put up signs for a lost dog. Taylor remembered all the special moments they had together. Two days later he got a new dog, which wasn't fun at all. In the news paper he saw a story about a 9 year old girl who fell into a train track and a dog saved her life by a rope. He studied the dog in the picture. Then he noticed that it was his dog, Britty! Taylor jumped up with excitement. He started to cry with joy. He went to the animal shelter to pick her up. When they saw each other they ran and hugged each other. The dog wouldn't stop licking him. They went home and each night Taylor remembered to close the window before he went to bed. The dogs played with each other everyday.
