One of the stories of a traveler who comes to the Dragons court tavern once a week.
From mother to brother

The old wooden door screams open as Sarth enters with his sword poised in his hand.
‘You can put that away’ hissed a voice from the other side of the library. Sarth sneered and seethed the sword back into its holster.

‘I have been expecting you.’ Says Draag as he rose from his chair pulling his robe right and then taking his staff in his right hand. Sarth moves heavily towards the skinny wizard and halts in front of him with a frown on his deep scarred face. Draag looked at the shiny armor which reflects his torn and thinned out face causing him to look into the dark brown eyes of his guest.

‘I have been expecting you. I have sympathy for the loss of your wife..’ with this Sarth slams the table with his huge hand.

“You don’t know anything about Sympathy you scum!!!’ shouted Sarth with a deep earthquake of a voice making his long hair create a veil across his face. He wipes it clear:’ Your lackeys were the life stealer mage and I will crush you, but my honor will keep this from happening….explain your reasons for being the unsympathetic snake that took the life of a innocent angel.’ His voice started shaking and his left hand was poised to pull the handcrafted sword from its resting place.

‘Warrior…you have been misinformed.’ Hisses the mage and walked towards the window overlooking the city of Graak. He twisted his ring on the finger with a dragon carved out on it.

‘I don’t trust you mage….’ Points to the book of the resurrection on his table.’….you has spells in your head that makes you less trustworthy than an ogre with gold. EXPLAIN yourself..Snake!!!’

‘You SHALL NOT SPEAK!!!’ shouted the mage and with this the warrior is thrown into a chair and his mouth got welded by hidden magic. ‘This is for you own good honorable Guard…you will listen without interruption. You anger will only bring death to you and your people.’ The mage drifted towards a chair and seated himself in front of a table with a glass ball resting in a eagle claw iron mould. The sphere created clouds before revealing images of the room where Lethi was sleeping. Sarth reacted, his wife…in the hands of this snake, it was effortless as the mage has pinned him down on the wooden chair with his sinful hidden magic. Then a shadow appears close to Lethi and a blade gets drawn and with a swift strike it cuts the fair lady across the neck. Sarth felt the tears in his eyes and one escaped running inside the track a dragon has created across his face a few years ago. The tear ran down his shiny armor and then fades.

‘Look’ whispers the mage and the sphere focuses on the hand of the devil, assassin, demon and monster as it cleans his blade on the sleeve of its robe…then he sees it. The blade’s hilt….a eye the same blade he gave his brother at the age of 13. The figure turns and the face of his life partner, friend and ENEMY reveals himself. From the womb of his mother, tonight it will end on the edge of his brother’s sword.
