Together

We were best friends since kindergarten and have always been friends. My name is Kelly and I am in 8th grade. The best friend of mine, his name is Eric and he is in 8th grade with me. One day my parents went on a trip and I have to stay at Erics. Everything is going great. His parents go out to eat with some friends and we are just messing around. But then, a tornado came and we ran downstairs because we didn't know how bad it would be and we're freaking out! It is was unbelieveable!! Then the house started to shake and I hugged his neck so tight!! Then we realized that the dogs were upstairs and so we ran up! He grab on and put it one the stairs. I was trying to find the other one and finelly when I did, I grabed him and started running! Then walls started coming down and I heard him shouting my name I ran and ran and finally found him! I tryed giving him the dog, but instead, he grab my waist and we ran downstairs as fast as we could. The dogs laid in the corner next to eachother. Eric never let go of me! He actually sat so close and held me so tight, that I felt like nothing was wrong. When the storm finally calmed down and passed us, he got up and stood there holding my hands. He started telling me how much that really got him thinking and remembering when he was little and he liked me! I was amazed! I never thought he liked me! Then, before I could say anything or do anything, he kissed me!!!

We are in 12th grade now! We have been going out ever since that storm! Now when ever there is a storm, even if we aren't together, we always say that that one is nothing like the one when we were all alone!
