As I saunter about the valley of dreams,
The fountain of achievements, a mirror it seems.
As the birds were humming, my worries fleeting,
Now, the morning dew's broadly clearing.
When all of a sudden, from a stream not far,
Oh my gracious, a slimy toad, here it comes!
This not so humble big frog posed as a prince,
A kiss he demanded without any warning.
Taken aback at first I was, but shortly thereafter,
I thought, forthrightly; "what a stupendous idea!"
A knight in shining armor he may very well be,
And so like a fairy tale, a kiss was soon released.
And when I opened my eyes, came an enchanting surprise!
But that's when I awoke from what seemed eternal sleep,
Lying there next to me, my baby fast asleep.
I stared at the heavenly face of the prince I'll never forget,
Helping it I couldn't, I sighed in great relief,
The whole thing was only a vision of what here is reality,
Because the toad was my baby, my biggest and true victory,
Who, even in my dream... remain my only prince!
