Thoughts on watchful angels in our moments of need. |
You Dance With Your Angel By Clive Lee Welch I watch as your tears fall and stain, I can feel your thumping heart of pain. Its heavy drum beat’s so desolate, As you stumble through the rain, Not noticing me walk beside you, As you cry blindly along the lane. Soaked through, you collapse inside your room, Choking as you crawl from a love, Over all too soon, Your envelope of darkness, Deafens you to my angel tune, Sung softly in voiceless whisper, To nurture you back to bloom. Helplessly I sit beside you, I see you suffer, Watching the damage done, By the neglect of another. I share your pain and your laughter too, Whilst working undercover, For your world blinds you to me, Your true eternal lover. Gently now you weep, And now you fall to sleep, Hush, hush now… You close your eyes… I spread my wings… We make the angel leap… In wake you have forgotten, The dreams where we both meet, Magic moments whilst you are fast asleep. All is darkness but don’t be afraid, This is the tunnel to where we were made. Welcome home.… You dance with your angel, Live enhanced with your angel, Dazzling as brightly as the sun. You talk with your angel, And you walk with your angel, Knowing battles here are won. You cry with your angel, Dancing freely with your angel I only dance with you, My chosen one. You are gently woken by warm caresses of the morning sun, How gloriously it repaints your room now a new day has begun. I watch you softly smile and all your tears are gone. You do not remember all our dances done, But your heart still remembers, You are a child of love, And love… Has Always Won X |
