It's not really a poem... I mean... technically... maybe... :P |
I wish to go back in the past of human race To witness the great days of history To see people evolve into nations To know the truth of past To find the karma of nature To smell the wind from fresh deserts And breathe in the scent of old woods To hear the rumbling of fierce sea And listen to the rhyme of slithering rivers To see the glistening of mighty peaks And sight the green of fateful isles To taste the water of magic streams And tap the colours of rainbow To feel the strength of wise day with wind gentle in the fields and birds chirpping to me To speak to the beautiful night while resting my head on a fallen tree To adore the rising sun ever so clear and free To fence the evening cloak when darkness wants to be To conquer my fears and face my pursuers To meet the horizon (and the future seers) To judge the purity of nothingness and impossible To fear my heart and tears To transcend my legacy of creatureness and mockery To live the life fair and even the cruelty of it To get my honour and chivalary to be a brave man (I have rarely happened to be) To shed tears over thousands dead in the ancient battlefields To seek the light of darkness To love my hatred And know hearts not faces To break the curse of virtuality And remember my origin forgotten To be less powerless And more real I wish to go back in the past To make another wish Yet again! 4:06 PM 10/1/2006 |
