This poem is about a boy I once knew, who turned his back on me when I needed him most.
Broken down in fifty pieces
The glue you offer has melted

The glue of .T.R.U.S.T. is weak

I was desperate to accept it
To allow you to piece me together
      like a puzzle

I wanted the comfort you offered
                    with honey-dipped words

I wanted to remain, safe, in your arms

Forever.

But "Forever" is a false word
      Forever is impossible
You proved that to me.

I hate you. Take this
                              Pain I feel
                                          and make it
                                                      Your own.

But you won't.
Only lovers do that.

And your "Love" was only acting.
    You played your part perfectly.
The lines seemed almost true.
But the curtain fell, and you took your
Final Bow.

The audience cheered you
You sucked in all they had to offer...
Like a sponge,
      almost twice your size now.

They love you - You love them

I curl up in my seat
Watching through rim-teared eyes.

They don't know you - They only know
                    Him
                Your Mask
    They dare not venture further

      I traveled through the waters
  Fighting against your current.

Behind every cloud is a Rainbow.
                Whre is my Rainbow?

Your storm will haunt me
through eternity
