Power

Just cuz you hold the crown, does not mean you hold the capability to rule
Julius Caesar ruled Rome but was betrayed and slain for being a fool.
Hitler's rule led to the Holocaust yet he died by his own hand.
You can't compare Dr. King, whose pride killed him for taking a stand
Malcolm X was also murdered for his part in taking a stance
J.F.K. is no comparison-gunned down for his ignorance

    " You can let your narrow mind exploit darkness, and shadow the light-
      cuz I'll counteract it with truth and let the light shine bright!"

In today's society death hasn't been the only way that we're taught-
Look at Nixon and Clinton, stripped of their crown for getting caught.

      "But let's flashback to the past to honor those whose prideful acts still last...."

Like Schindler and Rosa Parks who are praised after their death,
  just for refusing to allow everyone's ignorance to oppress.

      "There is a big difference between my blatant pride and your masked ignorance-
        and when you can decipher the two you'll see my open mind's significance!"

"Knowledge is dangerous, I hope now you can see
    that your titles but a word because knowledge has set me free....
Your crown means nothing with regards to power,
    It's the refusal to open your eyes that makes you a coward!"
