Bob tries to save his master, fails, and sees him murdered before his eyes. BIG TWIST
Bob was a normal guy. He was a decent male, always willing to do whatever his partner told him to do, a rare breed. He was unusual in that sense.
Bob had a master, and he provided his master with entertainment, more of a clown than a butler. He lived in his master’s house with his partner, sharing a room that was so generously given free of charge. He grew to love his master, not in a homosexual way of course (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but in a way that he would give his life to protect him.
One night, while Bob and his partner were quietly snoozing in their room, they heard a commotion outside. Startled, Bob looked outside to see what all the commotion was about, but the commotion had already moved downstairs. Bob wanted to go see what was happening, but his partner was scared and begged him not to go. So he stayed, and waited anxiously as scuffles broke out and moved upstairs slowly. There were sounds of a struggle, and suddenly the door burst open and in flew Bob’s master on his back. A dark figure entered the doorway and entered the room, but did not appear to notice Bob or his partner, and was much more interested in Bob’s master, advancing towards him with a great knife.
Bob couldn’t take it anymore- he couldn’t sit back and watch his master die in front of his eyes. Frantically, he scrambled up and charged at the attacker.
Bob flew blindly face-first into the glass. Dazed and confused, he circled around and tried once more.
Bob could’ve saved his master from murder. If he wasn’t a goldfish.
