I wrote this while trying a 3rd person view...

and replaced it with something else.

replaced with feeling alone.
Her dreams were ripped from her and
replaced with nightmares.
Her love was
replaced with hatred.
Her happiness was stripped of her and
replaced with sadness.
Her trust was
replaced with suspicion.
Her kindness was taken from her and
replaced with bitterness.
Her purity was
replaced with a marred life.
Her sleep was stolen from her and
replaced with restless nights.
The light in her eyes was
replaced with darkness.
Her comfort was ripped away from her and
replaced with pain.
Her solid ground was
replaced with a bottomless pit.
Her bold attitude was stripped from her and
replaced with shyness.
Her freedom was
replaced with chains.
She had to grow up
way too fast.
When she should be dating
she is all alone.
What took her years to achieve
he took from her in a few minutes.
