Department store employee kills his manager in an uncontrolable rage.

With my body so hot, my sweat literally steamed from my shoulders. I knelt in the stockroom of Bailey's Department store, brooding in a cloud of my angst. In my mind I saw Mr. Taylor walking by me, that damned smirk on his face. That goddamn "I'm better than you, you piece of scum" look on his face. He limped by, the foot on his stiff leg thumping hard on the ground. He didn't hide his limp and told everyone about how he was hurt in the war. Bullshit, he was a draft dodging coward. He'd piss his pants if he ever had to hold a gun. But he has a business degree and I have down syndrome, so I have to work for him and he thinks he's better than me.

"He'll never smirk like that again," I told myself. I lept to my feet and sprinted through the swinging double doors. Customers and employees stared as I flew by them, headed for the offices, heading for Mr. Taylor's head. Not slowing down, I burst through the office door, breaking the hinges and busting the digital lock. I knew the combination, but I felt like breaking down the door.

Mr. Taylor was alone in the office and he stared at me angrily from across the room. He wasn't even confused to why I'd broken down the door. I dove over his desk and attempted to tackle him, but he sidestepped me and I crashed into the floor. He kicked my back with his stiff leg, except he bent it. I knew that bastard was a liar!

I was pinned against the wall and my back was cracking, but I knocked his foot from my back with a sharp elbow and turned to face him. He tried to punch me but I caught his fist. His shiny class ring was sharp and it cut my palm causing blood to pour down my arm. He swung at me with his other arm, but I dodged it and headbutted him in the temple. He fell to his knees and I lifted my leg to make my final blow.

Before I could crush his skull, I was grabbed from behind; my left arm held by the store's security guard and my right by the Loss Prevention supervisor. The both thought they were tough and important. I flailed and struggled, cursing Mr. Taylor as he stood and looked at me. As I was dragged away, he followed and taunted me.

"What the hell did you think you were gonna do? Huh? You're pathetic Mr. Mulane. Even for a retard you are pathetic. Your retard mother must have had sex with some kind of retard caveman to make such a worthless piece of shit as you!" Then he spit on my face.

I kicked at him but he was just out of reach and he knew it. He was enjoying watching me struggle to get one more attack on him. Finally, I was carried out the door and Taylor stayed inside.

The cops came I found myself on the hood of the squad car, hands behind my back. The security guard and loss prevention supervisor left me with one officer. I heard the metal clanking noise of handcuffs being prepared behind my back and my sweat steamed from my shoulders again.

One cuff latched around my wrist and then I turned on my heel. The cuff dangling from my wrist opened and was burried in the officer's eye as I whipped my arm around. He collapsed and I scrambled back into the story, blind with fury.

I found Taylor outside his office speaking with two cops. I ran up behind the closest cop, wrapped my left arm around his neck, grabbed his gun with my right, and shot him in the head. I didn't want to kill the cop, but it was necessary. I kept the body in my left arm using it as a sheild from the second cop's fire. He tried to duck behind the service desk, but with one quick shot to the chest, I brought him to the ground.

Thinking he was dead, I dropped my human shied and ran after Taylor, who had hid in his office. As I reached the office door, I felt a stinging shot in the left side of my ass. I fell to one knee, but insticly turned and shot the dying cop one last time.

Losing blood quickly, I searched rapidly for Taylor. Unfortunately, he pounced out from the adjacent confrence room and knocked me off my feet. Towering over me, he reached for my gun and I fired one more shot. It pierced his hand and was lodged in his shoulder. He grasped his aching socket and fell like a whining baby to the ground.

Everyone was out of the store by now, so there was no one to interfere, but I could not take my time as I was bleeding profusely. With my last four shots I seperated his stiff leg at the knee. I lifted the surprisingly heavy limb and beat Taylor's crying face with the bloody end. He continued to curse my name.

After beating him with his leg for over a minute, I lost too much blood to stand and flopped to the ground beside him. I watched his eyes close and his last breath exhaled, then spit on his face before I died.
