Love can be beautiful and full of life
But it can make you feel like you have an earthquake within
On one hand it can make you feel on top of the world
But on the other, the deepest place in Hell
Love can make you strong or weak
Through some of the goriest wars
Every time you care you want to hate
Every time you hate you want to care
When you hate your heart is torn to pieces
When you care your heart gets punctured and ripped
But meanwhile your heart keeps beating
And beating
And beating
Repairing itself continually
Until your heart can not hate or love
And finally the war is over
Your soul is released
And waiting with open arms
Is God and the beat makes lovely music
And is at peace for the rest of eternity
