This is a fan-fic story based off of the Silent Hill universe
[Introduction]
Immense pain crawled toward the back of Terry's head following the trail of his spine. Groaning in agony, he awoke from his slumber to find that he was lying face down on his office desk. Trying to fight the urge to scream, he lifted his heavy head up to get a look at the surroundings.
"What the hell? What happened?" Terry muttered to himself. His office was a complete mess. Papers were scattered all over the floor. The fish tank that once accentuated his dresser was smashed to pieces on the carpet... The fish long dead from suffocating. Lamps were knocked over here and there. With the only light coming from the tipped lamp, the room had a ghostly vibe, seeming to bend the walls between color and shadow. And then something caught Terry's attention. The door to his office... The door was broken off one hinge, making the once simple door seem tilted and akward. But that was not what got his attention. It was what lied beyond the door. He use to have a clear veiw of the entire office from his room. Seeing every active employee, every fax machine, every cubicle. Now he could only see the empty space of darkness. Nothing was visible in the pitch black beyond the lighted space of his room. A sense of panic consumed Terry's mind.
"Could the power be out?" Terry contimplated. "No, the power is still on in my room." He reached for the phone and tried to contact his secretary, Emily. No dial tone was heard. Terry slowly stood up , fighting against the abusive wave of constant pain in his head.
"Did they close the office tonight, and maybe left me in my room? What the hell happened in here? Why does my head hurt so bad?" Many questions flowed through his mind as he staggered toward the dark abyss that awaited him beyond his comfort area. He knew that the light switch in the hallway next to his office turned on the entire office floor. "Maybe they were turned off when everyone left?" But not everyone should have been off tonight. At least his secretary should have woken him up before she left.
Terry had reached the doorway and stared into the open dark. Not a sound, despite the loud thumping of his fluttering heart. Not wanting to leave the light of his office room, he reached into the darkness, feeling the wall for any sign of the plastic frame of the light switch. Then something wet brushed his fingertips. Quickly releasing his hand from the wall out of sheer suprise, he brought it back into the room to see what the liquid was. A thick, dark red fluid stained his fingers. It looked a lot like...... Blood!
