A story of kingdom split a part by techical revolution in warfar
It's been about 5 years since the Great War begun, the names Bonsier Sermas; and i'm just a comon criminal in the eye's of King Montes.

I'm getting ahead of myself though, let me begin this tale in the kingdom of Telebis. I lived out my care free days as a child in a small trade town known as Pharis, I believed it was the crown jewel of all Telebis. I can remeber a meadow just outside town where me, my brothers, and father would go and practice our marksmanship; with bows of course. My father, a well known trader of fine goods named Guisien, had told me, away from my brothers, that the kingdom was falling a part and one day I will have to fight through every minute just to survive the slow moving days. I had always believed my father was trying to scare me so I would never miss a single combat practice, I would come to learn to trust his words.

As I grew, my skills in combat increased. I never wished to harm another but now i may defend myself if a sistuation were to face me. As I have said, my father was a well known trader, and his bartering skills would be his down fall. From the stories I have heard, my father tricked a man in paying extra gold for a necklace that, in reality, would cost a man no more then half a loaf of bread. The stories say that the man found out, by another trader, the true value of the necklace and was infuriated and insulted by my father. He seeked my father and demanded a refund, my father, up frontly, refussed to give the man back his gold. This news understandably made the man very angry with my father, in his blind rage, they stories say, he picked up a silver candle holder my father was selling and struke him fearsly with it, killing him istintly. The news of my fathers murder sadend the whole family but we lived on, they never found the killer but the officers of the court said it was only an act of thievery on the part of my father that caused this man to kill, so he would not recieve a murder charge. I wanted to head out for the man myself but I was needed with my mother to keep the home together, soon the whole thing was behind me, no anger remaned.

Chapter 1.

" Lord Motes, Lord Montes" screamed a young officer of the court as he ran down a long hall to the kings throne.

" Please calm yourself, now tell me, why do you address the King?", spoke the King with his naturally low voice.

" Sier, tis Parlamint. They have requested your presence in the up most ergency." spoke the officer, now completely out of breath.

" May I ask of it's concern?"

" I'm very sorry, but Parlamint only asked me to fetch you as fast as my bodycould take me. They gave me nothing of it's meaning."

" Very well, let it be recorded that on this date of the year 1827. The King of Telebis will meet with Parlamint."

King Montes was then escourted by a sum of 20 guards to the meeting hall of Parlamint. The short trip was uneventful, much to the liking of the citizens who had shown up to view the public meeting between the King and Parlamint. And would'nt you know it, I just so happened to be at this particular meeting, it's content would change my life, and really, everyones lives.
