Not my greatest, lol. Ahem...
Somber streams, Lazy meadows
Silent screams, Empty shadows
Here and there and in between
Grasping at rays of light which seep
Through crevices and cracks unseen
Scared and alone in this chasm deep
Quaint, somber, quiet truth
For you I search no longer
Alas, I yearn no more to sleuth;
My desire to flee far stronger
I've breached the depths of wisdom's edge
Passed up the shores of ignorant bliss
Nearly to drown in the dismal knowledge
That the ignorance I scorned I soon will miss
Oh, Brave new world full of cowardly foe!
I fear the outcome so bleak
