Compare and Contrast

The movie I would compare to The Perks Of Being a Wallflower would have to be the movie Thirteen. Some of the similarities would be that Charlie and the girl in the movie Thirteen both don't have that many friends. They both make new friends and they both get drunk and do drugs. They both go through life changing expierences that most of us have been through or know someone who has. They both talk about more of the teen issues and they're both what teens need to watch and read. They're both about teens who are in high school and are just starting high school. They both had older siblings. They both smoke and go out to party.

Some of the differences would be that Charlie is a more emotional person than the girl in the movie. The girl in the movies is more of a rebellion and cuts herself. Charlie has always been a wallflower and has never had friends but the girl had friends either way. The girl was never molested by any of her family. The girl steals from stores and Charlie never stole anything.
