Bad teenage poetry.
I see you in the shadows, haunting me.
I called to you, but you left me standing.
I turned, and have now turned again.

With the fall of the grain, the warm stone grows and crumbles.
The eternity has opened my eyes, I see you now.
All around me, you seem.

When you were close, I was blind in my sorrow.
Shadowed and bound.
Curled upon, caught tight with dark string.

I played inside the margins, surrounded, promised to the grey.
You were there, distant but watching.
An ever-present shadow, embraced.

I feel your touch on my lips, a soft breeze.
Your cool breath caresses my heart, gentle and light.
How could I have not seen, the staring one has you twined.

I had covered my eyes to the sight, but you never left me.
You are patient, I know that.
Your reasons, I know not.
