living through heartbreak
In the dark, wide awake, lies a broken heart.
Lying there with tears falling for the pain.
If only things were like they were at the start.
All the thoughts of the hurt driving her insane.
When does it stop, when will the bleeding end.
How long till this emptiness is to be filled.
When she sees him, now she always has to pretend.
On the inside it feels like she's been killed.
Her bleeding heart screams out in the night.
She needs him more than anything she has known.
But he is gone, left witout a word, with his light.
Leaving her in the dark, with no one, all alone.
Now all that's left is her broken heart, bleeding.
Draining her life, slowly killing her inside.
Knowing that all he said was a simple lie.
Every night she has lost her strength and cried.
Now she wishes she could lay down and just die.
Can you see it in her tired, lonely, eyes.
She has become a bleeding heart faded into the crowd. All that's left is the goodbyes. That coming to close is no longer allowed.*Frown*
