an autumn haiku inspired by sunflower fields

SUNFLOWERS

Sunflowers follow
a Fibonacci spiral
on their sunlit path.

Planets swing smoothly
in their well-ordered orbits
about a calm sun.

Vigilant scarecrows
Tenacious humanity
hold fixed positions.
