Winter Blues

If you're located in the northern hemisphere, you're most likely just getting settled into Winter. After the hustle & bustle of the holiday season, it can feel like a huge shift. For me, a lover of being outdoors, the cold weather can be a bit rough. I can get cabin fever quite quickly.

Luckily, WDC has plenty to offer to keep us busy! *Smile*

Now is a great time to look for new commitments to keep you busy, right? It's the time of year we're tackling new goals and resolutions, so why not add some WDC goals into that?

Review - Reviewing will always be my favorite activity, and admittedly I don't review as often as I'd like. However, I have made goals to review more in 2020, and I hope you all will, too! It's a very rewarding part of WDC for multiple reasons. It helps the other member, of course, by giving them helpful feedback on their work, but it also helps the reviewer. By reading and analyzing critically, you can learn to critique your own writing, too!

Contests - Who doesn't like winning? *Bigsmile* You have to enter to win, right? Find a new contest this month and enter to see if you can win!

Forums - Get into a discussion on one of the many forums with lots and lots of topics! Welcome a newbie! Ask for a review. The options are nearly limitless!

Polls, Quizzes, Madlibs, etc. - There are a ton of different fun activities you can do on this site! Explore and find something new!

Don't forget your 2020 goals! Keep a list where you can see it! If you're a planner, make lists and calendars with those goals in mind. Happy 2020!

As always, keep on writing! *Quill*
