I like the process of pencil and paper as opposed to a machine. I think the writing is better when it's done in handwriting. ~ Nelson DeMille
Writing is a passion I have never understood, yet a storyteller is all I have ever wanted to be. ~ Ruth Park
Seems as if the time flies by even on Writing.com. Have you thought about your next step? I hate to say it, but the holidays are just around the corner. That doesn't mean that your creative juices have to take the back seat in the mean time.
Many writers around the site plan on participating in "October Novel Prep Challenge" . Are you? It's a great way to contemplate your next move for your novel before the month of November comes around and you're barely able to lift your head up from your writing. The last thing you want is to hit a wall and not know which way to turn when you need it the most.
Plan and organize - that's what OctoPrep is for! That way you are ready for anything in your own book, even a plot twist you weren't expecting.
What follows is an exciting roller-coaster of writers who like to challenge themselves and who like a good competition. Don't forget to stop by at "NaNoWriMo Write-A-Thon" and join a team for more moral support. Team spirit always helps out to give you that push not to give up. You can't not have fun when participating here.
If you're unwilling to join them or won't have the time needed to set aside in order to participate, I'd definitely recommend supporting these fellow writers in any way you can. Gift Points are always a plus, but giving them reviews after the hard work is done, is even more appreciated. Both groups can use some help in any way possible.
But if you're a rebel and have something else in mind entirely, visit "Thinking about NanoWrimo - Rebelliously!" and perhaps join the gang there! Perhaps your plan isn't a fiction novel and you'd rather do something else? This would be the place for you.
Just don't ask me to give you any novel ideas.
'Til next time! ~ Gaby
