About This Newsletter

Hi! It's Marci and I am your Comedy Newsletter editor for today. I wouldn’t consider myself a comedic writer. So then why am I editing the comedy newsletter? Because even the most dramatic, suspenseful, and mysterious works need something called “comic relief” once in a while. So if you are not a natural comedian, then this is the place for you and we shall find comic relief in everyday life together.

I thought this image clearly depicted how my puppies feel about me. *Laugh*

Letter from the editor

Do you have any furbabies? Or non-furbabies for that matter? I have two and I love them to pieces. We never have a dull moment around our house. My little dogs think they're people, and they let us know it in no uncertain terms.

I got a new chair about a week ago. It's wonderful. It's a big fluffy chair and a half. And my dogs love it too. See, with my other chair, I could really only fit one dog at a time. But they've got it all figured out how to get up here and both snuggle up to me. And it doesn't matter that I'm hot flashin' all the time. Because they are cold. So they get up as close to me as possible.

I have the fans all facing me at the house, especially at night. So my little black dog decides she needs a blanket. I have one folded up on the back of my chair, so Maddie paws at it and whines until I cover her up. *RollEyes* Oreo doesn't need the blankets as much. He's long-haired, so he doesn't get as cold. But he can only lay down if he has a pillow to curl up on. So, no matter how hot I am, I have to have a blanket and pillow in my chair with me at all times. Either that or they drive me crazy. *Laugh*

On the other side of the room, we have a couch. Apparently, the couch belongs to the dogs. After all, we got it just for them! *Smirk* We leave a sheet on it so they won't pick it up too much with their claws. We also put old pillows and a blanket up there. Since I just explained how the two of them work, you understand why. Both of these dogs are sweeties, but they do like to aggravate each other. Maddie will sleep burrowed under the blanket for hours until she needs to go outside or get something to eat. So then Oreo, who is passive-aggressive, nonchalantly gets off his pillow and mosies on over to lay down on top of her blanket. The average person would think there's no way he does it on purpose. HA! He does it all the time. Maddie returns to the couch and tries to get under the blanket even though Oreo is on it. He totally ignores her like he has no idea what her problem is. She'll whine and paw at the blanket until finally, she jumps down and wanders over to my chair where she knows I will cover her up.

I'm such a great doggy mommy! *BigSmile* Next time, I'll tell you how Maddie is not so passive-aggressive with Oreo. She's a stinker, and honestly, deserves what he does to her. It's just so funny how he goes about it.

Your Furbaby Mama,
~Marci~

I JUST recently thought about starting a pro blog titled "Life with Mom: She's in her 50s and I'm turning 30, let the battles commence." or "let the war begin" but we've been at war since I was a teen, she'll ultimately win the 'war' but I've got a few battles under my belt...the belt she bought me *Pthb*

The comment about the belt is hilarious! Good luck with your blog. I look forward to reading it!
