Half Time
Let's recap and look forward in this writing year.
At the beginning of that other J month, no, not June. I mean January, you may have made some promises to yourself. Those may have included a certain amount of writing, reading, and reviewing you wanted to achieve this year. Since the half is still half-full, there is plenty of time left to get it all done.
Begin by taking inventory of all the things creative you have achieved this year. Don't forget anything. Even those notes scribbled on paper in the desk drawer count.
Next figure out how much there is still to do to meet those goals you set yourself...
And now is the perfect time to panic! Below, you can find all the contests you can possibly dream of to help you get caught up with those writing goals.

In response to my last newsletter "Advertising Venues on Writing.Com" , I got the following replies:
spidey wrote: Great newsletter!
Thank you!
Angels in my Ear wrote: In your article about advertising, you forgot to mention my group. We list all contests by genre and type to make it much easier to find your interests. Perhaps you can mention it in future newsletters. "Contest Central Station"
Done!
Creeper Of The Realm wrote: Thanks for the plug, Giselle! "New Merit Badge Commissioning"
You're welcome. I hope it works out and we can have Zodiac sign merit badges.
Valenchia wrote: I love, love, love these newsletters! They are so informative and helpful. Thank you to all the contributors for giving so much of your time for us "newbies" and veterans.
Oh, what praise. Thank you!
BIG BAD WOLF is Howling wrote: Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. As it is, if you're into Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Mythology, or other such things, here's the group for you. "Non-Humans R Us"
Good one!
Angels in my Ear wrote: Come bid on packages in your chosen genre an find reviews and packages from people who know their stuff. We give a brief bio on donors so you know who they are and what they have to offer. "Genre Auction and Fundraiser"
Great idea and featured above.
