Set your timer for 10 minutes.
On a blank piece of paper or a notebook,
1. Write. Write anything. Just get some words down on paper. Write about anything for the full 10 minutes.
Don’t go on until you finish this step!
Now turn to a clean page and,
2. Jot down the names of 4 animals, any 4, it doesn’t matter which ones.
Now- just a word of warning- the writing that you are going to produce for this next step is going to be really stupid. Don’t worry about it- just do it.
Now set your timer for 5 minutes.
3. Write a brief story, bringing your 4 animals together, having them interact with each other. Make sure that you get all 4 animals in.
Don’t go on until you finish this step!
4. Number your animals in the order in which they appear in the scenario.
5. Analyze the structure of the animal scenario you created for step 4.
Basically be very logical about your scenario and explain it without all the color and flair that you originally wrote it with.
6. Now go back to the raw material you wrote for step 1. Mark a vertical line down the middle of the page and horizontal line across the middle of the page, making 4 boxes. Yes, I’m asking you to draw this right over the top of your writing on the page.
7. Circle four nouns on your boxed page. Now number those nouns 1, 2, 3 and 4.
8. Now create a piece of work using the 4 nouns of step 7 and the form of which is loosely inspired by the scenario of step 5
You have completed not only Chapter 8, but Part 2 as well.

Brilliant job on the writing technique for those who sometimes experience a lack of inspiration! Truly interesting, although i would suggest to vary the 9 words given, because otherwise if someone attempts to do it again, can come up with similar results! Apart from that this has been interesting!
