I'm living in long term care facility, so one would think I would have very little to worry about and cause me stress. Not true! I still have a few things I have to deal with myself.
Some of the stress I encounter comes from loneliness. This loneliness is the results of not seeing or hearing from family or friends. I realize most of my friends and family have their own problems and can't always see or contact me on a daily or weekly basis. However, once a month would be nice.
I didn't realize not seeing or hearing from any one was causing stress until last week when I caught myself over extending my time on YouTube and listening podcast I don't normally listen to. After we say prayers revealed by Baja'u'llah and the Bab,I meditated on the problem.
I have decided to either call or text my friends and family at least once a month. After making that decision I got a call from one of my brothers. I will attempt to use prayer and meditation more when I find myself under stress.
