Writing Bucket List

Bucket lists are a type of fad that comes and goes. There was a movie a few years ago with Bucket List as the title. While it's a little bit morbid to do things because life is finite - it's a good idea to use the bucket list format to get a handle on all of the things you want to write. After all, a bucket list is nothing but a plan of all the things you want to accomplish. Writing is certainly one of those things. It's also a very broad topic, so you should give writing its own buckets list.

You are in the right place to get a whole lot of different types of writing things tackled this month.

June is shaping up to be a huge month for all authors on Writing.Com. The amount of writing contests and other writing and reviewing activities is off the charts. You can write something every single day and still only have barely scratched the surface of all that there is to see and do within Writing.Com.

There seem to be more open and active contests clamoring for your creative writing pursuits right now. There is a veritable glut of exclusive merit badges and prizes available. Some of the prizes are available simply for showing up and diligently working on a list of writing tasks. Some of the merit badges and awards require you to compete for them. In the end, it doesn't matter whether you win or not. You can't lose when you focus your creative mind onto a writing project that you meant to tackle at some point.

Amongst some of the long-running contests and the official site contest, there are a bunch of things that have sprung up recently. Please go check out the contests offered by newer members. Let's show them that they are in the right place for writing, reading, and reviewing.

You owe it to yourself to check out some of the aggregate pages run by and updated frequently by members. The time to get started is now.

Have you made a list of all the things you want to write?
