About This Newsletter

Romantic dates can look different for every couple. Some couples are fine just eating out once in a while, while others give much thought and consideration to an evening with a loved one.

This week we will look at a few different date-night ideas for your characters to try!

Letter from the editor

Coming up with a date idea that's as fun and unique as your characters' relationship is just as difficult as doing in your 'real life' relationship. There are only so many 'dinner-and-a-movie' nights you can stomach - at some point they become monotonous. Let's take a look at some options to get the hearts of your characters soaring!

*Heart* The Tourist Angle
Every town/city has attractions that catch the tourists' eye but rarely lure in the locals. Think about the places you take your out-of-town visitors, for example. Send your couple off to discover local landmarks or must-see attractions.

*Heart* Cooking Together
Maybe your couple could cook together and try out a new dish - something with aphrodisiacs maybe!
What about sending them to a cooking class for the evening?

*Heart* A Picnic
Don't underestimate the power of a surprise picnic! There's nothing more romantic than packing up some al fresco food and beverages, spreading them on a blanket, and enjoying the great outdoors.

*Heart* A Campfire
What a great way to spend a chilly evening while igniting the flames of passion. Throw in some s'mores or hot chocolate for good measure.

Now that you have a setting for your date, all you need to do is figure out how the date will end up! Will the date have a comedic twist or end in an argument? While in a public place, will the couple run into old friends, lovers, etc? The possibilities are endless!

Have fun sending your characters on some interesting dates!
