Letter from the editor

From September 1st through September 15th, the annual Masquerade Party is hitting the stage. Written and directed by our very own Brooke Author IconMail Icon, this birthday week staple is a fast-paced, red-herring adventure. The best part? You can join in!

The story is written in daily installments by your troupe of 'suspects'.

Your job is to figure out whodunnit by getting involved!

Sleuthing doesn't just take place in the story. It evolves through the conversations taking place in the forum. Both guests and players will pop in and out, adding to the narrative. There's bonus prizes for forum creativity, and often the information or ideas from the forum make their way into the story.

Like any good murder mystery, you have to guess who did it and why. Although, this year, there's an additional guess you have to make *Sly*.

There's been mysteries on a train. We've travelled to space (with Elon Musk, no less). We've been by boat, stayed in a hotel, and vacationed on an island. You never know where we'll be or who might drop in unexpectedly. Except Charlie Sheen. He always seems to find the party.

With all the Masquerade's wild adventures, this year it's returning to it's roots. It's a well-loved format, with a well-known cast of characters who have demonstrated a cohesive story line time and again. It will be an intimate setting with well-structured clues. Perfect for first-timers or those looking to rejoin the fun, it's the kind of murdery Masquerade everyone loves.

Watch your newsfeeds for the first boddy drop!
