When Title become a Cliche
Titles are important!
It is the name of every finished story/ a novel or a book.
Like characters that have their own name to every created work.
In a person's achievement, it is the name attached in their original name.
They have their titles as they've said like, MD for medical doctor, Engineer, for engineer, Archt. for architect, Attny for attorney and many other titles.
In a book, it is the first part that a reader will search and see.
So if the title were created in an efficient style then a prospect reader may be hooked to enter and read the body.
Titles in other words are the pully or hooker of every created form of literature work.
It is the door to determine if the reader shall proceed or not.
It is the first part that gives an impression.
It is then that titles be designed and planned properly.
Here are the things that one should consider in creating a title.
1.Try to be short but meaningful..
Short title is easy to memorize and easy to stick in our mind,
like our names its easier to call short names than long legendary names..
The Passion of Christ gives more impact than
The struggles and the love of Christ.
2. Titles should be linked in the created body.
Of course- the head will always link in the body, because whatever we see or reflect in the title it gives us an impression and expectations of what the body is all about.
3. Title should be easy to grasp and catch.
It's useless if a title isn't easily grasped by an audience, even how deep will be the title, and this should be ranging for everybody, it may be mislooked while a prospective reader looks for titles.
4.Title should have an emotion or in motion.
It will be meaningful when the title implies an emotion, so use powerful adjectives and verbs that are moving or reflect an emotion.
5.Title should link to each genre and to the range of audience .
Genres can sometimes mold a title.
Example It's not good if a title gives an impression to be formal to be used for a children genre or in romance genre.
Some titles were overused, that is why they've become a cliche.
But sometimes 'cliche gives us a mode of familiarity and has the possibility to stick in our mind.
Moreover, as long as we are confident for a title, then why not just choose it
In any digital platform for published books like Google, Amazon or Goodreads, titles of created books were the first one to be shown when authors' names were searched.
When titles are already submitted on a platform like Amazon, it's hard to change already, they don't allow you to change the given title you've submitted unless if you totally delete it.
So choose your title wisely to avoid regrets at the end.

Our Question for this week Newsletter:
Which One would you prefer and long title or a short title, why?
Our Question from "Spiritual Newsletter (August 11, 2021)"
What will you carry when walking in a dark journey?
My poem, Let there be light.
The sun hone upon a grey sky.
Everything around began to awake
and There was light at day break
God created the bright sunny day
To light the path of your journey
To heaven and the task you must take
To serve the Lord each day.
Mary Ann MCPhedran
