After Party
If you go to a dance party in Berlin (Germany), don't show up before 12:30 a.m. It's bad form. If you're planning to go to a dance party, you have to find ways to stay awake. Go hang out with friends beforehand. That way, when you all decide it's late enough to go to the party, you're showing up as a group and are certain to have enough of a crowd to get the party going. Since you arrived late, stay until 6 a.m. Oh, look at that, the sun is up! Now that you made it this far, come on to the after party. It will take part or the rest of the day. You're tired, but also wired. There is still plenty of fun to be had as long as you just show up. This time, you don't have to be fashionably late. Come as soon as you can. Rush to the after party to stay with your friends and new friends until the sun goes back down at the the end of the day. Don't sleep, just party like you mean it.
Except, you didn't go to a dance party in Berlin. You celebrated 20 years of Writing.Com for a week. You arrived early, on September 1 and you made sure to at least check out all of the different fun things you could take part in. You wrote, you reviewed, you bought some raffle tickets or bid in auctions. Hopefully you sent out a bushel of merit badges and also received a big bucket of those. Did you keep track of all the other fun and colorful things the site owners invented for us? Did you make sure to use them right away? I sure hope so.
The official party is over, but should really come on to the after party. It will take a few extra days or the rest of September. Either way, don't leave now. Several of the fun things offered by members here in the community will go for a few more days and there are still many amazing prizes, unique and rare merit badges, and other things to be won. Don't miss out. We're never going to party like it's 2020 again. I can guarantee you that.
They say that dog years are equal to seven human years. How many years is one human year for the internet? How old is Writing.Com really? Let me know in a newsletter reply and I will make the below trinket available to you.
