On every page, confidence fights with self-doubt. Every sentence is an act of faith.

How are you doing during this strange time of physical distancing? Has it helped your creativity? Do you have more time to write or do you feel stuck?
I write short stories and poetry so I have the luxury of switching back and forth. Sometimes, though, I just stare at the blank page. What to do?
One thing I do is walk away and find another pursuit. I've been coloring a lot lately. It frees my mind to ponder ideas.
Not into coloring? Take a walk, read, take a nap, cook. The distractions are endless!
What about entering a contest here on Writing.Com that is a different writing style or different genre than you normally write? What about an activity? There is so much here to lose yourself in and possibly shake loose your creative mind.
Hopefully the world will be back to some semblance of normal soon. Until then take a deep breath and make the most of this time!
