Letter from the editor

We all know dark times and that they do pass. In the meantime, we try to keep a positive vibe to keep stress and fear at bay. In medicine we know laughter can help lighten our mood. Even here in the world wide community here we learn how people are coping and share compassion and good vibes, never making light of the serious impacts on health, wealth and relating. It is wonderful. *Heart*

*Delight* What is also so contributive and amazing is how we also are trying to keep things sensible and light, sharing a laugh at things that lend themselves to humour. Even to laughing at ourselves...to stay sane and release tension. Even being stuck in with loved ones can be trying!

*Binoculars* I was looking on line as what folks are doing and comedians continue to provide their special brand of humour on youtube and other sites to connect with folks and do what they do best...make us laugh and see another side of life. This Hour has 22 minutes had a cute Angry Yoga segment where the mom is trying to calm herself with yoga and then notices and rants at hubby leaving dirty socks around, gum on the ceiling and her older son leaving lego that she steps on ending with the corpse pose as corpses don't dust. I am sure moms might relate to this and have a grin at least.*Crazy*

It has been fun to see jokesters of all kinds sharing glyphs, jokes, songs and even funny trinkets that will be memorabila later on. if you need a laugh right here at WDC, check out the newsfeed.

A few items popped for me:
Sum1's Home Author Icon, with this, "Note: Oh My, this is too good, too funny! Enjoy. [E..." and "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!Open in new Window.!

🌕 HuntersMoon Author Icon' quite often treats us with his "Just because it's serious, don't mean it ain't funny" notes like "Note: Take A Break... Take 18 Just because it..."
or the famous TP"Note: Take A Break... Take 9 Just because it..."! Scroll and laugh. *Rolling*

*Salute* I'm glad we have folks who have time to find things to share here at WDC to uplift us.

and hey, thanks to LMs❤️BrewinMagic Author Icon and Jellyfish in Morocco Author Icon

for sharing these collectable TP Trinkets here:

"Note: [Image #2213628] Maybe it is a time for ..."
"Note: ArE you living through COVID-19?? Would you lik..."

Remember to check the Newsfeed for treasures and humour. We are in it together.

*Delight**Laugh*
Allow yourself to laugh at the silly things, using tact and sensitivity. Everyone has a different sense of humour and there are serious things like illness and unemployment that we would not make light of. Toilet paper on the other hand...*Facepalm*

Stress management consultant, Loretta LaRoche said. “We have 60,000 thoughts a day and many of them are very disturbing. Laughter helps the brain relax."

I read that comedian Rhodes reminded us that “Even during the Holocaust, people told jokes."
Laughter is a symbol of hope, and it becomes one of our greatest needs of life,..and can help healing."

It may explain why social media feeds are dotted with coronavirus-themed memes, cartoons and amusing personal anecdotes.*Delight*

*Delight* And don't just take my word, check out:
