(Note to self - send this to my brother, who played football well into collage, until an injury, or two, caused him to quite for his own health.)

Football - it's as American as Apple pie (or so the story goes). Two teams doing battle over the pigskin as they try to score points. However, injuries happen at all levels, and what happens to the players? This is an important question, especially if the player is a member of the Army or Navy, or another military academy based football team (or sports team in general). What happens to them, given that their education/employment is paid via taxpayers' money?
