To Robin Williams [13+] In Memory of Robin Williams |
Hi Ẃeβ࿚ẂỉԎḈĥ , This review is a part of "Game of Thrones" [13+]. Overall Impression: I can't believe that it's nearly 10 years already that Robin Williams passed away. It doesn't feel that long ago. His passing was a great loss to the world, and I understand why you wanted to express your feelings about it. You did this very well. The first stanza speaks of the super moon on the night of his passing, and how this offered people an opportunity to look up and say goodbye, which is very touching. The second stanza is indeed a farewell. I know that there are those who find it strange when we are affected by the loss of someone who wasn't an immediate part of our lives - who we may not have even met - but we can feel that loss. The emotions are very real. And it's good to find a way to say goodbye. On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. It has an easy rhythm and flow. Well done. Suggestions: I have just the one suggestion here, if you ever wish to revisit this poem. You use some punctuation in this poem, which is helpful. I suggest going for full punctuation. That would assist the overall clarity and reading experience. My Rating: This is a touching farewell to a great entertainer who, by all accounts, was a lovely person as well. I did have one suggestion, but it is more of a personal preference. I won't let it affect my rating, I will give this item a 5 out of 5. Thank you for sharing your work. Write on!
