It is good to connect with another Christian. Thank you for entering the September round of "The Christian Writing Contest" Open in new Window.! Lord-willing, I will run another round in December. Watch for it!

What must we do to inherit eternal life? That is an important question and Luke 18:18 a good verse to use for this round of the contest (writing about an 18th chapter or verse).

As I read your entry, I see you. You have chosen to share yourself. It is almost as though you are writing a blog entry using Luke 18:18 as a prompt.

I see what you have written as an honest admission of your own thoughts and feelings. You admit your weaknesses and declare the important things.

I got to know you better through what you have chosen to share with us and appreciate that.

I am not sure if what you have written really expounds on the verse you have chosen but it does tell us your personal response to it—as though you personally asked the Lord the question and received His answer...

If you wanted to improve this item, you might consider creating an outline for a five paragraph essay and think about the message you want to convey. I suspect if you did that, you might end up with something quite a bit different. Let me know if you decide to try that and I will be glad to read and review your work!
