*Angelic* I was drawn to the old fashion French word title as it seems romantic. Your tag line caught my eye as well as I enjoy metaphors! *Wink*

I enjoyed reading this soft dreamy poem with its romantic aura. The images are magical and the use of nature theme is effective and suits the theme as it builds a background and atmosphere in which to place the query of "safe harbour". It speaks to me of how the two come together as one. *Heart*

The poem seems to be a free verse as I didn't feel a definitive structure of syllables of line lengths. It did not mar the read for me as it added variety to the read. Your rhyme scheme added to the flow and coherence. You used some true rhyme but then two almost rhymes in "end"/"again" and "free"/"seas". I liked the soundscape to read aloud as in "breathes easy and free", "satin skies" and "seagull skies" are also evocative. The consonance of "s" is really a connective one and keeps the tone soft and smooth.

It seems the voice is speaking to the beloved and I assume in the last verse when you say "Imagine" that that same voice is speaking.
It is a fascinating concept "whimsical pillows". *Thumbsup*

Such a wonderful vision to ponder as I can enter into the moment and the changing colours of sky and water. It is an awesome comparison to eternal time. Thanks for the dream. *Starstruck*
