Chapter #5
Captured!
by: Unknown
You hold on for dear life as Barney walks back with Kevin to the couch. Power Rangers are still playing.
“You said we would go to the beach today?” Says Kevin.
“Yea, Gotta watch this real quick, it’s half way over.” Barney sits down.
You get lucky, somehow you stop shrinking. You’re only a 1/64 of an inch though. You look around, compared to the shoe, you’re only the size of a grain salt. You wait, but you don’t think you’re going to shrink any more right now. Maybe you’re done, but you can’t take that chance. You need to climb up to Barney’s ear and tell him that you need help. But at this size it might take a while. You start climbing up. You reach the bottom of his shirt by the time the show is over.
“Ok, let’s go Kev!” Says Barney.
“Yea! To the beach!” Says Kevin. They jump off the couch.
You need to hurry to the ear. Barney walks to his room and grabs his backpack. You get to his collar. He gets on some sun screen. You’re at his neck. He walks out the door! You hop into his ear and scream as loud as you can!
“I didn’t say anything…” Kevin is waiting by his bike.
“Go back inside, you forgot something!” You say. You can’t let him know that you’re there.
“What did I forget?...”
“Snacks, you left them in the guest room!” you say. ‘Come on, go for it…’ you think to yourself.
He starts walking to the guest room. He spots the peanut butter jar on the floor and the cake on the dresser.
“Put the cake in your right ear!”
Barney does so instinctively, take a piece and sticking it in his ear.
“Ew that’s gross!” he screams out. You take a bite of the cake, as small of an amount as it was, it would do that job. He pulls his finger out of his ear, only to discover you. You are now a half inch tall and still growing.
“Hey!” He says pausing as he grabs you. “Why are you so small…?”
“Let go of me!” You say as he squeezes you.
“You made me stick cake in my ear! Oh… I’m gonna have fun with you.” He smiles.
He brings you out and stuffs you in his back pack, specifically one of the front pockets. You stop growing at a inch and a half. Smaller than a mouse, you can’t get a hold of any of the cake. He puts the cake in a small Tupperware from the kitchen and brings the purple peanut butter along with some bread and water.
“Sorry Kevin! Let’s go have some fun” he snickered to himself.
As he gets on, the zipper is undone slightly. You have a chance to get out. But he has all the cake with him. You would be stuck outside the house, but at least you won’t be with Barney…
