"Do not trust this woman"
The voice didn't came from Dr. Veronica.
"Come on" said Dr. Veronica. "we have to finish the experiment"
"Get away" said the voice in Eric's head.
Two men entered the room then. The two men were 6 feet tall and wearing body armor. Ihe men looked like SWAT police, Eric mused. SWAT? Wait. How could he remember what SWAT police look like?
"Be gentle to him" said Dr. Veronica to the two men.
Eric backed up and took off into the air! He flew past the three startled people and zipped headlong into the wall of the hallway. Dazed for the moment, Eric saw Dr. Veronica got something out of the pockets of her lab coat. Eric quickly got up from the floor and ran down the hallway.
"Get him!" yelled Dr. Veronica, and the two SWAT police began to chase Eric down the hall. A clawed hand touched Dr. Veronica on the shoulder.
"You should go to, Wesson" said Dr. Veronica to the hulking form behind her.
Eric was lost. He was inside what looked to be a hospital. He had lost the two SWAT police, and making his way down a hallway that led to a lobby. The lobby was empty. Eric dashed out of the doors and into the cool night. It took a few minutes for his eyes to adjust to the darkness. Eric was flying away in the air. Soon, he saw a city below.
