Chapter #7

Prison cells

    by: Bmao Author IconMail Icon
The first thing that comes to your sense was a dripping sound coming to the right. You open your eyes in alarm, and find yourself enclosed in a dingy cell. At that movement, your dragonwings lift over your back in alarm. You're not wearing very many clothes, in fact you've been stripped completely naked in fact.

That also means Galby has all my guns, gadgets and other high tech stuff. Alagaesia's screwed then.... Heavy chains were connected to each of your arms. Instinctively, you tried to move, but of course it didn't work. You figured that Galbatorix had a fair amount of expertise at imprisoning people, and would take extra measures to keep you incarcerated.

"Shit..." you muttered, "I sure jacked up didn't I?"

As if to emphasize this, a slithery voice said, "Don't thiink that you posssibly have a chance of essscapppe..."

You look out the cell and notice two freakishly ugly figures. They had crossbows pointed at you, and by the way they held them they seemed to know what to do with them. After having fought against the Malthinae and seen your share of dingy prisons, there wasn't much that scared you anymore, but these creatures, the Raz'ac you recognized, gave you a profound sense of unease.

Then you noticed Drak wasn't around, and that made you panic. Frantically, you tried to contact him, but found that you couldn't. That made you shout in dismay, no doubt he was chained up somewhere also.

The Raz'ac hissed a warning, emphasizing that by pulling the chain around your neck. That made you shut up.

That left you with nothing to do. Prisons made people go mad, and as time progressed, your sanity frayed. You sang random songs for no good reason. You also did bodily things that you also never would have done outside of it. The whole while, the Raz'ac kept unyielding eyes on you, never moving or pausing for a moment. For all intensive purposes they might as well have been security cameras.

Yet before long, you started to get hungry, and thirsty.

Like moths to a flame, the Raz'ac immediately noticed this, and proferred a pitcher of water which they pushed through the bars. You immediately pushed the pitcher of water to your lips and drank it down, but it was only when you were finished that you realized there was something strange in it.

The Raz'zac seemed satisfied.

"We shall now take you to..."

You have the following choices:

1. See Galbatorix

*Noteb*
2. A torture session... ain't that wonderful?

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
