I looked at Drak as I heard the voice calling for me to talk to them. Drak stared at me with it's dragon eyes and gave me a telepathic, "Should we go?"
I shaked my head unfortuantly saying, "I would like to, but right now we have a mission and we have to complete it."
Drak gave me another telepathic "nod" and flexed his wings, waiting for me to get on. After securing my machinegun and making sure all of my equipment is on, I sat down and wrapped my arms around his neck. As we lifted off the somewhat looking black tower, we could see the trees entering the area moving at such a slow place yet causing havoc on the little creatures that were attac king us earlier on. As I continued staring at the scenary before me, Drak suddenly roared and moved to the left very sharply, almost making me fall off.
"Why did you do that for?" I barked but then my question was answered for me in awe.
6 flying creatures were hovering around us. all of them had wings just as big as Drak's and by the looks of them, had sharp claws and sharp beaks. I judged their look and realized that those aren't a match for my dragon Drak, but 6 of them....
Deciding rather to not tangle with them, I said to Drak, "Breathe fire at the nearest one, and get out of here, they look hostile!"
Before I finished the word hostile, Drak arleady sensed my intention and attacked the nearest flying creature. The creature had amazing reflexes I thought as it dodged Drak's fire attack with ease. However, that gave us the chance to escape and I knew that those creatures couldn't outdust my Drak in speed. Drak is a very well trained dragon and back in our world, Drak was one of the legends when it came to speed.
However, we didn't get more then 400 m where a bright light suddenly hit us. I began screaming after feeling Drak's pain. Man it was terrible! Immediately Drak lost control of his wings, and was heading to the ground. I tried to encourage Drak with my thoughts but the light was to powerful. We then the ground with a big bang! It took me 10 seconds to get my head straight, and immediately I took out my sword and my machine gun and looked around. We looked like we were on a ground full of skulls. As I stared in horror around, the light began shining down at us. I stared at the light and noticed that it was coming from a very black tower, not the same one that we escaped earlier. Drak suddenly roared and I looked around and held my Machinegun more tightly.
100's of those creatures we fought earlier were coming at us fast. From what I could see, it would be about 30 seconds before they arrive. I also saw the flying creatures were coming to our location as well. I looked at Drak and realized he wasn't able to fly yet, and I still didn't know what that light did to him. As I stared at those creatures coming and the flying ones flying here, I realized I had only two choices.
