Dad notices two ants trying to get away...

After the death of their beloved mother the siblings were reasonably shocked but they knew they had to continue. So they ran. Ran faster than they thought they could be capable of. Tears were streaming but they couldn’t stop.

As they made their way far away from their father he noticed them. They were tiny of course but given that he saw an ant he assumed that there’d be more than one so he thoroughly searched for them. He always had good eyes so it only took him mere seconds.

“Uh, more of you. I thought so but really hoped there weren’t” he said to them. He made his way towards them with gigantic steps that covered in seconds what they’d be able to do in hours.

The boys were horrified that they were being discovered but pressed on regardless. They knew they wouldn’t be able to make him help them. It was futile but they weren’t gonna die without trying.

But the distance was soon covered and he stood there, foot raised ready to crush them. What will happen next?
