Ben, Mike, and Dana watch as their titanic husband and father ascends up the stairs and out of sight. "Phew," Dana said in relief. "Like I said boys, your father loves you but there's a good chance he won't recognize you at this size."
"Ok mom, we understand," Ben responded.
"Should we try to fix the shrinking machine?" asked Mike.
Dana glanced up at the machine. She did not realize her husband had built such a thing, much less knew how to repair it. "I guess," she sighed, as the three walked up to the machine which continued to emit a low buzz.
"Well, at least it sounds like there's still life in it, so that's good," Mike said.
Dana stared at the machine trying to think of her next move. "Yeah, it is. Why don't you two go over to the trigger and try to push it together. I'll stand here and you can try to shoot me."
The two brothers walked over to the trigger button on the machine while their mom stood where she guessed it would shoot out of. Hopefully she could return to normal then grow her boys back, and then carefully try to find Sara.
"Ok mom, we're ready!" Ben yelled out. Dana took a deep breathe and closed her eyes. Nothing. The boys were too small to pull the trigger.
"What's wrong boys? Nothing happened," Sara said nervously.
She heard the sound of one of her sons crying. "We're too small," Ben said as he sobbed.
At this point Dana lost it. She wanted to look strong for her sons but this was too much. Out of pure frustration she started yelling and kicking the machine. She hated it. She cursed and tried to take her anger out on the stupid device.
However, the remote was not as dead as she had originally thought. Unbeknownst to them, Frank had installed a killswitch specifically for situations such as this. Dana kicked the machine in just the right spot and it began to rattle. "What the hell?" Dana muttered. The machine shook and a bright light erupted out, growing who?
