Unintentional divorce

"If we reach the shrinking machine, this might all be over soon! And a few days from now, we'll all be laughing when we tell this story! Come on Ben, let's not be stupid, she's safe and we will turn her back before anything will happen.", Mike said, trying to convince his brother Ben.

That's when they heard a faint cry.

"Ben! Mike! Please help me!", little Sara pleaded from atop the "mountain".

His little sister crying for help was enough for Ben to start running towards her. Mike hesitated, but followed him regardless.

The huge box grew larger and larger, its shadow engulfed the ant sized siblings. It took several minutes before Ben was out of breath and in need of a break. He fell onto his knees, breathing heavily. Even Mike, being older and physically stronger, admitted defeat. They barely closed some distance.

"This... is... too much... We're too small. We... we should've gone for mom and the device. Now it'll take DAYS to get Sara and cross the entire room AGAIN!", Mike panted.

Ben, being close to tears by now, realized he might have made a mistake. But little did he know about the GIANT drama being about to unfold in their family home attic... and how his decision might have saved his life.

"HONEY!? YOU CALLED?"

The entire room shook when Frank yelled for his wife from down the stairs. The kids had to cover their ears immediately while Mike's knees gave in as well by the sudden wave of energy.

"DANA!?", the deep voice of Frank boomed up the stairs again. "DAMMIT, I COULD'VE SWORN SOMEONE CALLED MY NAME..."

Now the floor started to shake violently. BOOM BOOM BOOM

Frank was coming up the stairs, his heavy footsteps shaking his family's shrunken world to its foundations.

Suddenly, silence. The brothers had a second to regain balance and just managed to look at the entrance when the door opened with an unmatched force. The resulting shockwave send the two boys flying, further away from the former dad and now titan called Frank. Dana on the other hand wasn't so lucky...
The ant-size middle aged woman was knocked off her feet by her giant husband's sudden appearance. She hit the floor hard, receiving several bruises in the process, but was stopped moving further by one of the now huge toys she was trying to put away.

"Ow... oh my god, that hurt... what the fuck happened...?", she muttered to herself. She had already realized that she has shrunken down. But the sight of her mountainous husband left her speechless. How could a human the size of an ant possibly comprehend such a tremendous size difference?

Frank was a handsome man. That was undeniable. It was always surprising to people when they heard he was a scientist. No one seems to picture a "geek" being 6'6'' tall, lean and slightly muscular. And going by the size of his huge feet alone, he must have been an excellent lover, too... Him and Dana married young, and he's yet several years shy of turning 40.
Dana, still befuddled by hitting her head, remembered how people often confused him with the actor Colin Ferguson back in the day when the TV show Eureka was still popular. She looked up at her handsome, sloppy hubby and giggled.
He was getting ready for work, already wearing his unbuttoned dress shirt exposing his broad chest. His tie was loosely wrapped around his neck, waiting to be bound by Dana like always. Aside from that and his boxer briefs, he wore nothing. His long, hairy legs stretched out for miles. Dana strained her neck trying to follow them up. She wanted to make eye contact with him, but his gaze wasn't meant for something so insignificant as Dana, and she could only see his huge, manly chin from down below. All that was needed now were clouds covering his face and Frank could pass for the Colossus of Rhodes.. times 1000!
The only part of Frank being in Dana's limited reach were his rough, naked feet. Next to these mountains of bare flesh, Dana seemed to vanish into nothingness. She had to gulp. How the hell would she ever be able to make him notice her? And the smell... it was just too much. The strong odor of men's perfume mixed with the musky scent of an adult male reached her nose. And his feet... a nuanced composition of sweat, "insole" and sourness. She never realized how intense her sexy husband smelled. It was mesmerizing!

"DANA, HONEY, ARE YOU HERE? I CAN'T FIND MY SOCKS! DANA...?", he said and stopped when he realized she wasn't there. "HM STRANGE... AND WHY IS EVERYTHING SCATTERED ACROSS THE FLOOR?! THOSE DAMN KIDS!"

Suddenly, movement. Frank raised his mile long leg, ready to move a step forward. The shadow of his huge foot engulfed tiny Dana. She was able to get a glance at the full glory which is the underside of his bare foot: the pink flesh of his meaty sole was wrinkled and slightly callused at the points carrying his weight. Small crumbs of dirt got stuck to it, and even a small ant stuck to the ball of his foot, flattened beyond recognition. But the mangled body was so small that it disappeared among the other specks pressed into the fleshy landscape. The foot wasn't dirty, it was just that at her size Dana was able to witness this microcosmos of squished dots between folds of skin and cornea.
A sudden realization hit the minuscule woman that if she didn't get his attention soon, she will be a part of it, too!

BOOOOM

The foot crashed down. Dana didn't dare to open her eyes, still thinking she's about to be squashed like a bug. But she was lucky, the foot landed directly next to her and would've send her flying again if not for the toy. The smell was intensifying! In front of her was only - flesh. She was so insignificantly small that she wasn't even able to touch the "smooth" part of the foot's skin, only the part of the sole's skin which tends to grow up the lower edge of the foot. She had to think about the countless times she had to caress these monsters after a long day at the lab. She didn't mind, she liked satisfying all of Frank's desires. He also has his fair share of kinks, and he oftentimes talked her into kissing and licking his feet. He loved to have each of his toes sucked, and Dana loved to obey, that was her kink. But feet in general didn't interest her, and so this situation bore no pleasure for the shrunken mom.
She felt so helpless, so insignificant... her eyes got filled with tears. She gathered all of her strength and hit the thick wall of manfoot. She punched, and punched, and punched. Tears were now streaming down her cheeks as she realized that all her attempts were in vain. How can an ant be noticed by a man?!
That's when she heard Ben and Mike.

"Mom! It's us!!"

"Mom, you're ok! Get away from dad, this is too dangerous!"

Dana, shocked and relieved at the same time, began to sprint towards her sons. They were still some distance away, though...

She merely managed to run a few inches, when she saw her boys stopped dead in their tracks, looking up in shear horror. They began screaming for her, pointing upwards, and Dana slowly understood...
She stopped, too, turned around and looked up.
Her eyes met her husband's. This giant of a man was looking down, he was actually looking at her! A speck of a human!

Dana frantically waved with her arms.

"It's me, Frank! Honey! I love you! It's me I shrunk! Please help me! Plea.."

"UGH. WHAT HAVE WE HERE?! AN ANT? WE HAVE ANTS NOW?!", giant Frank interrupted her. He obviously didn't hear or recognize her. His dismissive attitude paired with that look of disgust on his face was defeating. Never had Dana felt so worthless and small in her life. Oh, the irony... Wife and husband, standing in front of each other but the husband mistakes the woman- for a bug!! A mere ant!

Dana fell to her knees, now begging to Frank. "Please oh please look closer! I love you so much, please don't mistake me for an insect! I beg you!"

But it was futile. A man doesn't waste more than a fleeting thought for an ant. His wife didn't like insects, and she sure as hell couldn't use ants infesting their home! The decision was made as soon as he noticed that tiny, moving dot. He wasn't angry at the ant, he wasn't happy to see it either. He simply didn't care for it. Nature made Frank big, gifted him with huge feet. And nature made ants small, so they can be squished by feet.

Ben and Mike held each other. They knew what was about to happen. Dad, being the man of the house, did it countless times. He is just getting rid of a pest, and it sure as hell wasn't the first nor the last one. He slightly lifted his bare foot over the poor "ant". Just a few inches, but for Dana it was still quite the distance. She was allowed to get a last glimpse of the underside of Frank's foot. Her last breaths were filled with his manly foot scent, and then... CRUNSH

Ben and Mike screamed in horror. "No, Dad, no! DAD!"

But if that wasn't enough, Dad started to twist hist giant foot, grinding whatever bug he stepped on into the floor and into his foot. For the kids, it was sickening to watch. Daddy squished mommy like a f*cking bug! And all because of that shrinking machine!

Reality hit all of the kids hard. They are nothing to their dad at this size, and he is most likely not going to help them. All they can do now is flee... and hope he doesn't continue his "spring cleaning"....

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Dad decides to put away the toys, giving the kids time to hide

2. Dad notices two ants trying to get away...

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
