Daniel decides to visit his magician friend. The magician's name is Radigan. What Daniel doesn't know is that Radigan is a very evil and very powerful sorceror who is at war with King Edward, Isabelle's father. But whenever Daniel sees him, he has the appearance of a very old man with a long white beard and a sparkle in his ancient eyes. Radigan can change his appearance at any time. He told Daniel that his name was Raven, so that Daniel wouldn't figure out who he really was.
The thing was that Daniel had been in love with Isabelle since he had first come to work in the castle at the age of ten. And all he wanted from Raven was a whole day with her so he could tell her how he felt. Whenever he came even close, they were always interrupted by one of the servants or her parents or SOMEBODY. So Daniel was travelling to the little hut where he thought Raven lived to ask him to cast a spell so that everyone would leave him and Isabelle alone for a whole day so he could finally profess his feelings. He didn't expect the outcome to be good, but he just had to get it out of his system. It was worth the risk of revealing himself to her.
