Isabelle and Daniel had been walking for awhile in complete silence and it was starting to get some what uncomfortable. Even though they were best friends neither knew what to say to the other.

Meanwhile, back at the castle, five knights were setting out to find the princess. "Can you believe we've been sent off on this wild goose chase?" asked the first.
"Yeah I know, we should be with the others fighting the war, not off chasing after some silly little girl with dreams of being some hero or warrior princess," replied a second.
"Hey look at it this way," suggested a third. "It's a nice break from real work. She's obviously not going to get very far, so we get to take our time and relax. This is just a paid vacation."
"That's right, and might I remind you guys that she is not just some silly little girl anymore. Have none of you seen Princess Isabelle lately? She has grown up, and mmm mmm mmm does she look good," said the fourth.
"Be quiet all of you," interrupted the fifth, who until now had said nothing since they had left. "First of all, she is only sixteen and a princess, you shouldn't be talking about her like that. Second, this is not a vacation, have all of you forgotten about Radigan?" The joy suddenly left all the knights faces, they had forgotten about Radigan. "He is still after the kingdom, and she is his ticket in. I don't want to imagine what he might do to her."

Finally the silence was broken with the realization that neither Isabelle nor Daniel knew where they were going.
"Isabelle?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you know where were going?"
The look of fear on her face answered his question. "Don't worry Isabelle, we'll figure out what to do," he reasured her. "Look, you said that book told all about this treasure. Maybe there's a map."
"Oh you're right, thank goodness you're here Daniel. Here's the book," she replied handing him the book. Just then they came upon a fork in the road. One path led to a quaint little village and the other led into a dark forest. "Which way does the book say to go Daniel?"
"Hmm, let me see. Oh great, the book talks in riddles. It says, 'VERY FEW HAVE EMBARKED UPON AND NONE HAVE SURVIVED THIS QUEST. TO A RICH AND BRIGHT FUTURE, DOWN THE POETIC PATH IS THE BEST.' What do you think it means?"
"Umm, lets go this way."
