A moment passed.
Nothing.
Another moment.
Still nothing.
"Sorry Guilmon. I guess it doesn't work."
"Yeah." replied the large dino sadly.
"Well, I'm sorry I woke you up for nothing. I guess I'll se ya later then."
"Bye." But as Guilmon started to drift off again he barely registered that he wasn't hungry anymore.
As Takato was leaving the park, he overheard a strange conversation. A customer at a hot dog cart was complaining about something.
"I'm telling ya my hot dog just vanished!"
"Ya sure ya didn't drop it?"
"Yes I'm sure!"
"Ok, I'll get ya another one on the house."
A pause.
"What the heck!? My entire inventory's gone even the condiments!"
"How's that possible?"
"I don't know. Hey! Here's one dog left."
Another pause.
"What the'?"
"Hey, what kinda' dogs you sellin'? What are they made of dust?"
"Dust?" thought Takato. He turned to look at the scene and sure enough, the hot dog in the vendors hand was disintegrating.
"That's not dust." thought Takato. "That's data!" The dust trailed off towards Guilmons hut. "This can't be good."
