Necklace

You pick up the cube and hold it to your chest, and run into the house. You have to hide this from your mom as well as yourself. What would she say about you sprouting a foot in a minute?
The cube pulses strangely. You run to your room with it in your arms and close the door. You look in the mirror and see yourself. Whoa, you think. 6'3". I should've joined basketball, instead of cheerleading. You set the cube down and stare at. . . at you. YOU!
You wonder how the cube did this after staring at yourself for a minute or so and look at the cube on your bed behind you. It seems to be glowing brighter and it is shrinking.
Strange, you think. It shrinks into a necklace and you put it on. I better keep this to myself.
Hide a little. Not that being a foot taller than yester day will help. . .but go somewhere!
