Chapter #4

1/4 of an inch

The abandoned warehouse was just round the corner and at seven you are quite curious you take your walkie talkies and enter the building.
The giant ray gun is completely solitary and unguarded.
You fiddle with the controls and the gun aims at you.
Then fires.
You feel dazed as it fires again. Then several more times. You walk out and home, when your parents tell you they have Tom Welling to mind you while they go away for the weekend.
This is no big deal he's a family friend.
They leave later. When you discover the walkie talkies dont work.
Tom comes up to you and tells you they look shorted and will probably work tomorrow.
He tells you to go to bed as he watches a TV show.
You feel groggy when walking up the stairs and lie in your room feeling in pain.
You hear Tom come upstairs and get into his bed next door.
You walk into his room as he has his back turned. He is only in his underwear and is justbusy with something on his shelf.
Then you begin to shrink.
You shrink fast and soon from one foot to one inch then still smaller. From the second you start shrinking you have been running toward Tom.
it lucky this room doesnt have carpeting or you'd be lost by now. You stop at 1/4 of an inch high and by now his big toe is 12 feet tall. His smallest toe is the size of you at 4 feet tall.
You grab onto this toe and wait.
Tom clims into bed but its a warm night so he lies on top.
